It all began in 2002 when my daughter Payton was born.  I knew from the moment I laid my eyes on her that my life was about to change. 

Already blessed with a son, I desperately wanted a little girl.  Her closet was already filled with darling dresses and precious little shoes before she was even born.  I was ready for my littlePrincess...so I thought.

After she was born, I realized that her cute little outfits were missing something.  She needed that "finishing" touch!  I decided to go look for headbands in my local stores.

I was disappointed with what I found.  My vision was different than what was out there.  I wanted something comfortable, yet elegant.  Cute enough for every day wear, or pretty enough to pair up with a special occasion dress.  What I found were items that left dents in my precious baby's head, or headbands that were poorly made with glue dripping out the sides.  I was frustrated and decided that I needed to take matters into my own hands....literally!

After several attempts, I finally had what I was looking for!  A headband for my little one that I felt made her look absolutely adorable.  Apparently, I wasn't the only one.  Walking through our local mall, I repeatedly got stopped by other moms asking me, "Where did you get that adorable headband?  I have to have one!"  Needless to say, my first sale was right off of my daughter's head!  

This happened time and time again, so I began to carry a supply with me in my daughter's stroller!  It was fun meeting new moms, making some extra money, and seeing the joy of putting MY headbands on their daughters for the first time!

I finally got up the nerve to approach my favorite children's boutique about selling my items.  That decision changed my life.  What was once a personal passion and hobby turned in to an actual business.  I have now been selling to stores and individuals for the past 6 years!

In 2007, I fell in love with a photo necklace that a friend of mine received as a gift.  I had to have one! To make a long story short, subsequent to purchasing my own piece of jewelry, I acquired the company that is now our Hartstringz photo jewelry line.  I couldn't be happier with what we offer!  I felt that this would be a wonderful addition to my hair accessories and offer something for mom's as well as children.

All of our items are made with great care and love.  We use only the finest materials and stand by every item.  We offer an extensive hair accessory line with wonderful colors for each season!  Each item is handcrafted here in the U.S. paying great attention to detail. The headbands are hand dyed to match our flower selections, and each Swarovski crystal is hand placed.   Our jewelry line is growing quickly and we are very proud!  What separates us from other photo jewelry lines in our dome topes which magnify your picture.  Instead of squinting to see your photo, others can view it clearly standing just a few feet away.  It is a keepsake that you will always cherish!!!
